XCAP RETAILERS: Deadline Nears for Renewing Your XCAP Status
IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED all steps of the renewal process, including viewing the Responsible Gaming video, thank you. We know your store will get very busy as the holidays approach so please, act now. Don’t lose your XCAP status! You MUST SUBMIT renewal applications by Friday, Dec. 30.
You fill your form out online, at your own pace at a time convenient to you. One person on the license must watch the mandatory Responsible Gaming video as well and should do so before the deadline.

RENEWAL HIGHLIGHTS
ONLINE APPLICATION
Go to the Maryland Lottery website on Retailer Corner at mdlottery.com. Select “I’m a Retailer” and then select “Applications,” which appears on the top right corner of your screen.
LOG IN HELP
The email address is the one you use to sign into the application portal. If you cannot remember that email address, or are unable to reset your password, contact Dylan Santos, dylan.santos1@maryland.gov OR 410-230-5583.
TWO XCAP RENEWAL APPLICATIONS
Retailers with alcohol sales will fill out that application and those without alcohol sales will fill out the other form. List all principals / resident agents (liquor license holders) connected with the business.
UPLOAD FORMS
Upload your articles of incorporation and fingerprint receipts for principals / resident agents. You can upload these files by scanning them in a .pdf or .jpeg format. Click HERE for fingerprinting authorization numbers and locations. We require both state and federal fingerprinting. REMEMBER: You will need an appointment for fingerprinting so don’t delay.
GREEN LIGHT
When you complete the form correctly, a green submit button will appear on the summary page on the application so you know you can submit it.
RESPONSIBLE GAMING VIDEO
You MUST email Scientific Games to watch the mandatory video. Only one person on the license needs to review the video. Email your request to Lottery-Training-Maryland@scientificgames.com.
Include in the request the email address to send the training instructions, retailer name and retailer number, contact name, phone number and indicate the training is for responsible gaming. You can view this video before starting the XCAP renewal application process.
