How to Become a Retailer

During the application process, the following will occur:

  • A pre-qualification of the potential retail location;
  • A credit check completed by the Maryland Lottery;
  • A background investigation conducted by an agency designated by the state of Maryland;
  • A tax clearance check completed by the state of Maryland Lottery Licensing Department;
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance check completed by the Maryland Lottery;
  • A site evaluation to determine if your business can support Lottery equipment.
