ATTENTION RETAILERS: Follow Instructions on Redeeming Spring Fling Free FAST PLAY Tickets

FOLLOW STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS 

We are aware of an issue that occurred on April 1, 2024 that prevented the system from printing free FAST PLAY tickets as part of the Spring Fling promotion. The issue has been corrected, and the promotion is now functioning properly.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you, your staff and your players, and we have provided instructions below for you to assist players who did not receive their free promotional tickets. We will tell those players to return to the retailer where they purchased the tickets that included the promotional “free ticket” message in order to receive their free FAST PLAY tickets.

The Lottery will issue you a credit for all free promotional tickets that should have printed but failed to do so. Those credits will be applied on this week’s settlement. Please see below for step-by-step instruction on how to assist players who did not receive their free FAST PLAY tickets.

It is imperative that you only provide free promotional tickets to players whose tickets were purchased at your retail establishment. Please ensure that all of your employees are made aware of the process listed below.


STEP 1:

Review the ticket provided by the customer to ensure it has one of the following congratulatory messages across the top of the ticket:

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FREE $1 Hi-Lo FAST PLAY ticket!
Ticket will print automatically from the terminal.

OR

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FREE $2 7-11-21® FAST PLAY ticket!
Ticket will print automatically from the terminal.

OR

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FREE $3 Prize Pyramid FAST PLAY ticket!
Ticket will print automatically from the terminal.

OR

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FREE $10 Grand FAST PLAY ticket!
Ticket will print automatically from the terminal.

STEP 2:

Confirm that the ticket(s) were purchased at your store by matching the retailer ID number located in the top right corner of the ticket to your store’s retailer ID number. If the ticket was sold at a different retailer, instruct the player that they must return to the retailer where they purchased the ticket to receive their free ticket.

STEP 3:

Confirm that the ticket was printed between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 1, 2024. You should only issue free tickets if the player’s ticket has the promotional message and was purchased at your location between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 1. If you provide additional free tickets beyond those that the player is owed, you will not be given credit for them.

STEP 4:

Identify the game and corresponding dollar value listed in the congratulatory message at the top of the ticket – ex: CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE RECEIVED A FREE $1 Hi-Lo FAST PLAY ticket.

STEP 5:

Print and provide the player with the corresponding game that you just confirmed on the top of ticket message. Do not charge the customer.

STEP 6:

If the original ticket provided by the player does not have any valid game play remaining on it, please destroy the ticket.

If the ticket does have future draws remaining, please draw lines through the congratulatory message as a reminder so your store does not provide the player with more than is owed to them. Do not mark the ticket anywhere else except the congratulatory message in order to preserve the ability to validate the ticket in the future.

If you receive a ticket from a player with the lines already drawn through the message, do not provide additional promotional tickets as the promotional value has already been satisfied.
